This correlates with every personal experience I’ve ever had the NZ police. They seem reluctant to want to act unless they absolutely have to.

I listened to this earlier today and was horrified. No one should have to live with that kind of harassment and abuse!

This is absolutely horrific, so distressing. I struggling to form words to express my anger at her situation & the failure of the police.

Many times while reading this I had thoughts in that direction

Police are meant to save us from that feeling

But they're busy saving us from gang patches.

You just know that guy is an absolute congealed custard of a man who would dissolve the first time any average-sized male called him on his bullshit.
