I only remember the intro to the Jetsons. It didn't interest me, like the Flintstones, when I was a kid. I just watched it because it was a cartoon, but it bored me.
I did. The super was kinda his friend. George is more of a wife guy tho. Usually we just see him getting yelled at by Mr. Spacely then attempting to fulfill his unrealistic demands.
I’m watching Mad Men for the first time, and because of the shared time period I can’t help but interpret this question as “Who’s George Jetson?” akin to “Who’s Don Draper?”
I haven't watched Jellystone, but this is not the first Fred Flintsone that sounds a lot like Fred Flintstone in recent years. When did voice actors start adding a decent Alan Reed impression to their skillset?
... this conjures unwanted mr. spacely imagery, and in the future i would appreciate content warnings. in answer to your question, tho, george jetson always struck me as a prototype chuck grodin dad.
I was always under the impression that he was a veteran.
Like, he served in Space War II in some non-combat role, came home, got married, and took the first office job that came along because he was just kind of burned out already.
