You realize how much Boswell brings people to life when you think about how he was largely excluded from Streatham, and Henry Thrale is a relative enigma. Johnson loved Mr. Thrale but I dunno why. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Hester sure doesn't make him sound great, but he must have had his appeal.
