Donald Trump is now (1) below 50% popular vote and (2) has a margin of popular vote victory roughly HALF of Hillary's victory in 2016. They believe the left has to lay down and shut up because of this "landslide" victory.

Inspired by your post, I have been running some numbers based on the current ballot counts and data from the U of Florida Election Lab, which shows in 2024 the voting-eligible population was 244,666,890.
As it stands, 68.75 % of the voting-eligible population did NOT vote for the president-elect.

Legit question. Does the Electoral college need to be winner take all? If the EV votes by state were allocated to reflect the popular vote in each state, it would put all states in play and encourage participation. Still honors the intent/history of the founders but also better reflects each state
