Abandoning them at the last minute is completely unacceptable and unjustifiable. But that is exactly what this small handful of locomotive engineers are doing.
Let’s get back to the negotiating table and seal the deal.

you know the locomotive engineers make $10 & $17 an hour less than their LIRR & MTA peers? you know the LIRR engineers are probably negotiating a raise. and you think that's a reason to keep underpaying your own workers??
just give people money, already.
