In this society, it is a chronic condition. Those with a little foresight are overwhelmed, while the majority who are oblivious have no idea what is happening to them.
Ah, I found the source of the effectuate crisis. Looks like the district judge said "make it fucking happen", and the supreme court is saying "oh, no, you can only tell them to make it easier to bring the guy back", because of deference. Pansies.
Because the issue is that SCOTUS doesn’t think the Courts have the power to order the Executive Branch to “effectuate” Abrego Garcia’s return. They have decided the best they can do is order the Executive to “facilitate”, which won’t happen.
I think because depending on how it’s effectuated, it might need to involve war or assassination at this point. Bukele has said he won’t release anyone.
But since it needs to be said, and though some are not a fan of this, most previous US presidents would probably risk war to rescue an innocent man from a foreign prison.
