My husband died a year and a half ago. I miss him dearly but will change my name back to my birth name. No one is going to take away my right to vote against criminal Republicans.
Those anti-Constitutional 'republicans' placing a Poll Tax on mostly women. Our 24th Amendment has something to say about Poll Taxes, but the 'republicans' are so over that document, eh
Thiel does not seem to have a solid understanding of what participatory democracy is or, say, female personhood. Losing sight of other people's humanity does seem to be a frequent side effect of obscene wealth. Although he might be an asshole even without money. Who can say for sure?
This is ludicrous. I’ve been married & divorced 3 times and changed my name on my Social Security card and very legal ID each time. That should be sufficient.
She is choosing to ignore the reach of provisions in the bill. One could write a 100 page bill that was about how essential it is to protect honey bees, but insert a clause that says, “oh, and men have the right to marry children after they reach the age of 4.” It’s still a crap bill.
Might be… but I’m not sure if I’m inclined to vest time and energy into helping them vote against our interests since they aren’t interested in democracy in the first place. While everyone’s voice and vote is meaningful, I’m not going to throw a bone to promote dog fighting.
