oh yeah, the Dutch stairs are crazy. Some are straight up verticals for 6 flights with boards so tiny only your toes fit. Some are spiral. Some are ladders. It's greatly limiting our housing options cuz I won't risk them on a daily basis.
The stairs at our house aren’t even as bad as some Dutch stairs I’ve seen. My father in law still managed to slip on them their first night at our house and broke his foot. 🤦♀️
