I’ve witnessed the process as a scrutineer, clerk, and candidate- I have full trust in the system. As flawed as our democracy is, it can never be taken for granted- to quote Astra Taylor (@astra.bsky.social) “Democracy may not exist, but we’ll miss it when it’s gone”.
