The senate still operates during a shutdown. And even if they shut down the senate, whether it be in the senate, or a pod, or a live...he has been out there and vocal doing the work. MANY others have been doing the same.

I’m convinced the important shut down votes, ayes and nays, AND Booker’s important 25-hour effort were well understood and lead by Schumer with the advice and concurrence of many. These two tactics were part of a larger strategy to keep the MAGA overthrow attempt from succeeding. Much more to come!
