I grew up catholic in the 1960s, and heard a lot about fear and burning in hell. Needless to say, it didn’t do much for my respect for religion. Francis tried to show a warmer side of Catholicism. Hope he is replaced with someone equally warm.

I love my friends but I'm not sure I expect them to be as humble or as "moral" as this Pope was.

He probably did more for the poor than all my friends combined will do for the poor in their lifetimes.

What were you expecting from him? Was he supposed to have solved all the Church's problems?
