She has a very strong regional accent, which is viewed by many as uncultured, especially if it's the accent of a southern or central region - areas viewed by the north as little more than colonies until well after WW2.

Her party did almost certainly get dark money from the Kremlin. I don't like her, but to her credit she did realign it with Europe and Ukraine, to the point where some senior members and MPs left and founded a new party - joining the pro-Moscow hardline communists, because irony isn't dead.
