I dunno man! I have been out of school for a decade, I can't even fathom what it's like to have The Cheating And Lying Machine be a trusted source. I remember not being allowed to use Wikipedia as a cited source because it wasn't considered properly vetted.

That seems like a return to youthful evolutionary basics to me… mate-seeking or social network/self-esteem building.
At the cost of intellectual development
considering how ridiculously expensive it was, felt awful.
