Apparently the new contestants “lack gravitas”. Even though Mat Baynton and Jason Mantzoukas are well established comedic actors who have been around for years.
Just because you don’t know who someone is doesn’t mean they’re not famous.

Also what's the issue not knowing anyone, you get to know them throughout the series anyway and then might look for their previous work.
