Pretty sure he’s planning a 200% tariff on Star Wars movies since he heard they’re made in a galaxy far, far away.

I have to agree with the others. Call this what it is. This corruption and grift and the selling of access is the biggest story out there right now and yet the NYT soft pedaling it is an incredible disservice to the public as well.

My point is just that messaging is important when you’re trying to reach people. If this side looks just like the other side but with opposite message, the people in the middle trying to decide who’s right will have a harder time discerning who’s being the more trustworthy messenger.

I get that the Bulwark is trying to appeal to the masses, but are all the clickbait trappings really necessary? Feels ick.

This is correct and terrifying when taken to its logical conclusion. I hope they’re just too stupid to realize but can I really take that chance?
No.

So so predictable. He does it every.single.time to everyone who surrenders. Big law could have destroyed him in court but instead chose the path of least resistance and now will reap what they have sown. Giving in to him and his ilk is always the wrong choice. How many times do you need to be shown?

One thing this administration has proved unequivocally is how great it is at destroying revenue. They’ll have the country bankrupted in no time! That’s the plan, right? Right??

Garland was Biden’s biggest mistake.

Was just saying that none of them should be given another second of airtime unless under strictly controlled conditions. The legacy media should stand up and put their money where their mouth is and use what little leverage they have left to stop giving these clowns a platform.

I get that because of his position they feel like they have to get his take, but the mind numbing drivel that comes out of his mouth every time they bring him back should disqualify him from ever getting another second of airtime.

Newsmax is ascendant. Cut off the head and two more will pop up in its place. There’s far too much of a market for this fawning garbage. It’s insane how they decry the legacy media for subtly biased coverage and yet the stuff they watch is blatantly, outrageously one-sided.

All this would be hilarious if it weren’t actually happening

When he finds a way to f’k them over anyway (just like he does all those who bow to him) I’m going to point and laugh.

They’re f’ing morons. Every one of them. Waltz, wiles, gabbard, Ratcliffe, miller, Vance, Rubio, and especially hegseth. Just f’ing children. Their “deep” policy considerations are about as insightful as conversations overheard at a Walmart.

I retired very recently from the USAF and Col Schappert’s words resonate deeply with me. As sad as it is, there is a certain comfort that comes with knowing there are others of my background (although I was a JAG and not a pilot) who feel this betrayal as intensely as I do.

Late to the party, and yes it’s illegal but a lot of rules that apply to government employees do not apply to the president (even before the latest asinine SC ruling). Traditionally presidents have followed the rules out of respect for the country and some sense of morality, but alas, no more.

Same. But we’re an extremely uninformed country too lazy to understand the nuances of the reports (soft-pedaled by the msm). And/or, they’ve been conditioned for years to think the media is lying to them so they just don’t believe it’s true or are happy to believe the thinnest of alt explanation.

“…perhaps even most ominously, including the head lawyers of each of the services”
This is correct. The chief JAGs of the Army, Navy, and Air Force are being “purged” as well. Don’t sleep on this fact.

The top military lawyers for the Army, Navy, and Air Force were all fired as well. Don’t sleep on that detail.

I’m not sure if people realize how extraordinary it is for military families to boo the SecDef and have children stage a walk out in protest over him.

I’m not really sure about that system but the military employs a similar system with the same sort of checks / balances.

Can’t think of anyone in my lifetime more qualified to lead this country. And I’m getting old.
