As much as I love ALF I have to say I don't think I would like an ALF movie in space.
I love him as he is on earth, not fitting in. If we add more aliens it would be too much for my taste.
I didn't even like the cartoons set on Melmac as a kid.
I'd probably still pick Project ALF over ALF in space.

It's very much the Musk & Trump war for me.
It's really a pet peeve of mine how people tend to talk about some celebrtities on a 1st name base eventhough they are huge assholes.
Musk is arguably more dangerous than Trump, so I've been careful never to say Elon. 1st name usage implies some sympathy.

But Trump's totally competent far right podcaster turned FBI guy just said a few days ago that now he's in office he can confirm it was actually suicide instead of murder as he said on his show.😅
Seriously though imo Musk is more powerful than Trump. Trump is just a step to get someone like Vance.

With 7 out of 12 wrestlers in the game plus Mean Gene dead this will be kind of depressing.😅

Here I thought calling Croc a classic was a stretch, but I guess Argonaut has more average games to offer that are even more obscure.

With how huge ALF was around here I thought it was a well oiled licensing machine.
But with so much happening it was probably easy for unofficial merch to slup through the cracks.
And it's weird how the records only had Piper posing with ALF toys on the covers instead of a photo with the real one.😅

Just listened to it, it's great that you got so many guests now, and even Paul Fusco!
Bold from Piper about the records and that he wasn't asked for permisson. Mike Reiss said Paul did get gold records at some point at least, even if no money.😅
About ALF against ICE, that has been memed last year.😁

What's wrong with Pacman? Is he on a diet or why is he so peaceful together with the ghosts?😱

And before a Zelda fan gets angry: I actually really like Zelda III, by far my favorite in the series. Great game. But I do prefer Landstalker.

Not quite Landstalker.

It's the zebra / horse thing. That video suggests the footprints must be from a zebra when a horse is much more likely.
I say he is weak, narcisstic, not especially smart (successful as a TV personality, not so much a businessman), and at this point evidence suggests easily manipulated due to age.

A brick didn't fall on his head. I don't think there has been much evidence in his life he has been very smart. I think he may be the least intelligent president.
And at this point it becomes more likely he is even senile.
The thing he is good at is PR. Getting attention. But no substance.

While I would call myself a Shenmue fan a tease for Shenmue 4 would have me terrified rather than excited anyway.😅
After the disaster that was Shenmue 3 I'd be fine with just letting it rest for good and have the story conclude in my own head. ^^

Times change. What's acceptable changes, and people change.
It's always been like this. I admit that sometimes I feel like people nowadays are too sensitive. But I believe that's just a result of when I was born. I bet my grandma felt similar about things that were no longer okay when I was born.

Man will Russland also mit den Gasverkäufen locken, die es bereits hatte bevor es die Ukraine angriff und die damals nichts an den Angriffsplänen geändert haben.

Hmh... I always liked to read, but even under perfect circumstances like eyes not getting tired quickly and lots of time throughout the day ... Let's say the average novel is 300 pages. I couldn't read and take in 600 pages in a day. I never read more than one rather short book in one day.

If I see that correctly, it was a case of some people (who were fighting against deportation?). And it says since most of them have now already been deported from the country anyway their complaint is moot? How cynical. The remaining plaintiffs give up.
Not a native speaker, maybe I misunderstand.

I don't like all SH games.
But honestly, not a single one ever made me think it ruined anything. SH games can stand alone so well, you don't need to play and like every one.
I avoided Books of Memories for over a decade because of the bad reputation, now I just started playing and it's a good game.

Trump has no moral compass, he wants to make money and he feels Putin is his buddy. Remember how he said they have been through a lot. And how much he admires authoritarians.
Europeans are all talk too.
This here is probably kind of close to how the phone call went.😅

I think it is a dangerous way of thinking to always come to the conclusion the spell is broken when we narrowly dodge a bullet.
People are stupid, often selfish. They have the memory of goldfish and fall for lies again and again.
Winning by such margins seems like only delaying the inevitable imo.
comment in response to

It's still way too close for comfort. People with far right beliefs that were once regarded as fringe come dangerously close to winning.
It seemed like Americans were done with it in 2020. But Trump made a comeback.
Winning against them by onpy a few % means it can be the other way around next time.

The distrust between the west and Russia is stupid?
Russia runs desinformation campaigns and literally had agents out to kill enemis on the territory of western countries, it attacked its neighbours.
The west treated Russia as a normal partner.
I see good reason for distrust from one side.

I think it legitimately looks better than the remake. The game is just gorgeous in its gouraud shaded style with just the right amount of textures and the remake loses that classy look.

So with the track record of the last two systems, the Saturn being more expensive than the PS1, and early games looking better for Sony... And since around here kids can't go to arcades VF, Daytona etc didn't mean anything to me... There was just little reason for me to bet my savings on SEGA again.
comment in response to
post
That's what made me switch.
When it was announced I started saving for a 32X. I was 13. Before I had the money it went to the bargain bin.
Then I looked at how bad CD support had been too...
For a system I'd have to save for for a long time I wanted longevity and I didn't trust them on that anymore.

"Sony makes stereos, clock radios and ever other electronic under the sun."
Panic didn't even allow for a spell check before sending this ad out to print.
I love SEGA, but I was one of the people who switched sides in that generation. Saturn was cool but SEGA screwed up a lot after the MD's peak.

I wonder. Nintendo never had a hit home console without the successor falling short of it in sales. And looking at the announced games so far, and how so many games are not available physically I don´t even have a game pre-ordered with the console yet. So at least for me personally it looks bleak.

comment in response to

comment in response to

comment in response to
