It's Day 7 #AudioMo Cat v Fox in the garden.

It's day 6. No really it is! #AudioMo and today is a day to empty my head.

#AudioMo Day 5 - Reality …

#AudioMo day 5 and it's raining. Good for the garden! I realise I start saying it's Day 6 sorry! I lose track of time and it's within "experimental error"

Day 4 if #AudioMo and I'm missing my midweek exercise.

In daylight, this Cape Fuchsia blossom is purely yellow. UV light reveals a different color dimension, including the teal markings (invisible to us!) that point pollinators to the nectar within. Off to do a podcast – stay tuned, if you're into that sort of thing! #flowers #photography 𝑃ℎ𝑦𝑔𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑢𝑠

Day 3 of #AudioMo and I'm enjoying listening to you all. Thank you.

Day 2 of #audiomo.

This is one of those days #audiomo day 2

It's day 2 #AudioMo celebrating a short period of "silence"

It's #AudioMo day 1 and I'm trying to a new app @blipvox.com. I like it it's straightforward to use for a nonexpert like me.

An early research memory for me was putting on an overnight nmr experiment at 9 pm and the magnet quenched. #chemsky #NMRchat was v grateful for the lab managers reaction when I phoned it in.

Researchers have made the psychoactive compound ibogaine - the primary alkaloid in a central African root bark named iboga - from pyridine in just seven steps. Clinical trials have shown that the compound can blunt addiction and depression.

What a glorious day in the UK! Apologies for my spring exuberance. #Spring #Joy #weekend

Celebrating PhD viva success for one of my students Magali Rego. Always lovely to see a researcher succeeding. Magali has done some innovative work on making functional materials and is currently doing a postdoc in Manchester. #chemsky #PhDchat
