Okay now it's on Harry Styles I guess?? Like I just have posts from the Harry Styles fandom showing up more and more frequently lmao. No disrespect to the guy, but I have no idea what made the discover feed algorithm think that might be something I'm interested in

I downloaded mine from Kindle a few days before Amazon stopped people from being able to do that 🙃 Which I guess worked in my favour in the long run because if I hadn't done that, my copy would be locked to the ereader I'm now looking to replace. The modern world sucks lol

I hadn't considered that, it's almost impressive how throughly Unbound have managed to fuck over both authors and backers.

Arguably the weakest episode in series 1, which isn't a slight on the episode but rather a testament to how incredible the quality was in Eccleston's era.

Or a secret third option, a good game you pay upfront for but the controls are awful (looking at every GTA game on mobile)

If she really is the next Doctor, I hope they can work one of her songs into the next series. Even if it's just playing in the background somewhere

I watched that episode the other day and that line made me laugh too. I also like that the National Trust in the far future have the means to build gravity shields strong enough to hold back an expanding star. I dread to think how expensive their car parks are to fund that kind of technology

I see TUaT as a regeneration fuled fever dream, which is why the first Doctor feels so out of character. It's basically the 12th Doctor cringing at his own perception of how he used to be, the 1st Doctor had some bad moments for sure but nothing like that episode makes out.

Ah, I haven't seen the confidential episode yet. It probably is a corporate answer to some extent, but equally 3 series is a long time to be tied to something. He was doing Sex Education for years too, so he's probably eager to get out and start doing something new

I think he did, I think his last words about joy were at least somewhat his own

That's how I feel too, I'd have loved a third series with him but I'm not mad about him leaving. And the two series we did get were good overall imo

I was thinking about this the other day, I'm kind of over the Doctor being the lonely god type figure. That will always be a part of his character, but to me the Doctor is best when he's a stranger someone gets chatting to at a bus stop. Clearly strange, but in a good way.

It sure was a lot

Good luck, I hope you find them useful too!

This is for pin badges right? If so I'd definitely recommend rubber backs, they're still not perfect but I found they held a lot better than the metal butterfly clip type backs.

I don't have a huge amount now, but rubber backs instead of the metal ones made a big difference to the pins on my bag. I did consider glue, but I never had the confidence to commit like that lol

Basically Unbound collapsed, a new company called Boundless took over and they're refusing to pay royalties unless they do well. Which they likely won't because they've completely destroyed any trust people might have had in them.

I 100% believe that humans will venture out into the stars one day. But not any time soon, and when we do that dipshit will have had nothing to do with it.

Maybe it just gave you a sneaky free trial, check so you don't accidentally get charged for it later

I'm fully with you there, I'm not against bringing back older villains altogether but it should be an occasional thing. The focus should be more on new things, especially for a finale.

This episode was for sure, and a way to show how the traditional nuclear family trope is a lie. I agree this was basically a lot of setup, so it's ultimately down to the finale to see how it holds up. But overall I liked it, even if it was a bit heavy on the exposition towards the end.
