June 16th, 2017 levels of "drive exactly here, early, and then leave" chasing today.

Now that said, i get ice cream out by Boise City, see what happens at what is obviously going to be a very potent initiation somewhere up there, and then GET OUT OF THE WAY

Even from just your pictures you had a “big tornado obviously coming” vibe just oozing out of your posts. A delight to follow.

My forecast summary. SE Colorado will probably bite me with a tornado.

Just do what a *lot* of people after we had like 5 El Renos and let people guess. I always get confused looks when i ask “which Coleridge”, too.

I'm 40 miles away at this point, lol. I planned my route based on ice cream, and pre-smart phone, I don't stop for a library until I'm near the KS/NE/CO border. The storm was so forgiving and had a second act (seen here), and then it just slowly marched down the North Platte valley for hours.

What a time for the steelers to news dump, lol

86 Houston is low key a really fun team. The more I learn about everything from early 80s UH to the Rockets, the more I realize how important the 94 and 95 titles were to that city and the sport.

I feel like being banned from FanDuel is a little bit different than how Vegas in the 70s would have handled people manipulating outcomes

Ya know, they are having to try to lie to congress now instead of running chainsaws on national TV. The omaha mayoral race had a lot to do with elkhorn. Long, dark ways to go, but this feels different than two months ago to me. Whiny, pathetic, weasley, like they know they are out of poly capital.

I can say it vaguely now: this event will MESS with military aerosol applications. THERE'S ONLY SUPPOSED TO BE ONE AEROSOL TYPE IN THE SKY

And here's with rough air streams annotated. Blue is RFD air, red is inflow air getting lifted over the surging RFD, and yellow is the air getting lifted into the low-level mesocyclone, forming the wall cloud. That yellow airstream is getting cut off by the surging RFD at this time. (4/4)

Pick on Coors or the rockies pitchers, but this stat is also a bitter indictment of their defense in that clown park.

I have a hard time here. I feel we as a met community are having a hard time admitting that helene didn’t come together until it was too late for some people to take action. There’s a legitimate reason good people are anxious to get possible solutions sooner. How do we work with that?

Would I have panicked and stayed in Nebraska? I'm not sure. Original target wasn't bad, though.

If you're not an SEC fan or desire a lot of pitching, this year has been the best year I can remember. Aside from the first day, there haven't been many rain delays, so teams with less depth have still been able to give it their best shot.

I read those articles, and i thought, i do want to know what song was on the radio in belleville at 2 am. I do want to know what kind of pizza you got in larned. I want to know you ignored the exploding updraft the first time you had a road. There was belonging/camaraderie for an insecure teen.

He started giving me directions to the farmhouse but then offered to just drive me there himself after the event was over. That's where I was able to film all of this... a tour of landmarks impacted by the June 2nd, 1990 Albion, IL tornado: youtu.be/CP_aTby2SXg

Ah, memories of when NBC decided they could do better with sunday afternoon fall programming than the NFL

The two teams Omaha CWS regulars celebrate losing are texas (obviously, lots of reasons)…. And Vanderbilt. Those whistles.

Colorado isn’t insane but i believe they play a disproportionate number of April road games, which is its own sports conversation.
