Scout Island. People let their dogs off-leash here all the time (I don't know if that was the case here) which is infuriating, because of the disregard for the dogs' safety but also because there are birds and turtles nesting, plus people like me who don't want to interact with your dog.

If ya need to do bloodwork at Labcorp, the Walgreens at Vets & Bonnabel in Metry was great for me yesterday. Bit of wait, but polite friendly service, just one needle stick with no bruise from phlebotomist. And I’ve got PIA veins. Way better than last few experiences at Prytania location.
