The funny thing is, nobody has seen a single benefit of Brexit and yet people complain- it's utterly confounding. I don't love what Labour have done so far but they've got trade right: deals with the US (in a limited way), India and the EU now. Pretty solid going for just 12 months in power.

Good analysis and great point on how much energy is wasted on relatively small economic exposure. Nevertheless, look at each of these in isolation is not looking at the downstream effects of immigration as well. I'm all for immigration but we need nuanced analysis. However, your point remains valid

Apart from the irrelevant Tories and the 0.01%, does anyone else actually care about the Telegraph and their cartoonish takes on anything at all?

Great that she wants to take us back to the 70s, that she wants Cruella in Reform, that fossil fuels > climate & that illegal migrants are all bad and that blocking a few thousand people will solve our issues. "Dame" Andrea already showed us what she thinks of the British people with one finger...

Voters are upset at Labour, who must unshackle from orthodoxy and build a positive, uniting narrative. The Tories are becoming irrelevant with clueless Kemi at the helm. Reform have no policies just rhetoric. Labour could truly seize the day if only they were bolder and not placating everybody.

Are people seriously this stupid? Labour continue to be super defensive instead of building a message of positivity and growth. Christ, I'm worried the UK will go down the same path as the US at the next election if the Labour strategists cannot come up with any viable message.

Crazy- we have no idea how this will impact children and have run no studies. There's developmental impact (social and academic), privacy issues and, furthermore, they'll be steeped in the AI's bias. Totally insane- looks like don't be evil has had the be removed...
