I fully support my Government sanctioning these Israeli ministers. I fully support a secure, peaceful Israel & a secure, peaceful Palestinian state. The current Israeli regime is committing genocide and it is NOT anti-Semitic to say so - 'the Israeli government' does not equal 'the Jewish people'.

I'm afraid that's not a FACT. We have more vacancies than we have people to fill them. Hospitality venues are closing in huge numbers every week because they can't get staff. We have a shortage of carers, construction workers... But we have a proportion of those on benefits who WON'T work.

I really, really hope Carney wins. We do live in interesting times but it has been heartening to see how Canadian people seem to have come together & found common cause. Like the Tesla takedown, we can see Trump et al alienating the rest of the world & uniting ordinary people against them.

Raskin is a legend. I watched almost the entire impeachment hearing in Congress on the J6 outrage. He was amazing! So intelligent, well informed, incisive, persuasive. But still, the Republicans banded together and saved the Orange Nightmare. And look how that worked out.

Starmer is undoubtedly doing the right thing to seek to negotiate & take a mature, non-reactionary approach. But if it doesn't deliver results pretty quickly, the UK must join forces with Canada, Australia, the EU & anyone else who wants to join and present a strong, united front to defeat Trump.
