The $15 trillion valuation represents an extreme bull case that assumes Tesla's absolute dominance of a future, fully autonomous transportation market, with minimal competition and rapid technological and regulatory breakthroughs.

A $15 trillion valuation for Tesla would be roughly 75 times the projected entire US ride-sharing market in 2034 (at the higher estimate of $200 billion).

Clearly a fully scaleable level 5 SAE launch. Because everything else isn’t scaling, as Elon Musk said.

Three months later, 3 college students in Piedmont, also suffered a fatal crash in a Cybertruck that drove off the road and crashed into a tree. Although one of the passengers managed to get out alive, the flames were so intense that rescuers were unable to reach the others.

After the power went out, the driver was unable to open the Cybertruck’s electric doors in the usual way. The exterior door handles also did not work, and the emergency manual door release handles on the Cybertruck «are unreasonably difficult to find in an emergency», the text says.

Only 102 days later, he was driving home when the car left the road and hit a large concrete pipe, after which the car’s «hypervolatile» battery system went into «thermal explosion» mode – a chain reaction of short circuits that eventually led to an uncontrollable temperature rise.

If you’ve ever been in a hospital burn unit, you could hear patients begging the doctors to let them die because the pain is so bad,» said C’s lawyer Scott West.
The lawsuit states that on April 25, 2024, Sheehan purchased a brand-new Cybertruck from a Tesla dealership in Cypress, Texas.

«It was 8 inches [20 cm] shorter than before the burning. This is a thermal fracture. […] It is the most painful and longest torture of all deaths. Whether it’s steam, fire, or electricity, the nerves are literally exposed to it. It’s horrible.

This pragmatic focus on operational efficiency has accelerated deployment. Analysts now predict that EVs will outsell combustion heavy-duty trucks in China by as early as 2028, with new electric truck sales potentially exceeding 190,000 units in 2025.

A critical differentiator for the Chinese market is the widespread adoption of battery swapping technology, with nearly 40% of electric heavy-duty trucks utilizing this method, allowing for a “refuel” in under 5 minutes, directly addressing range anxiety and minimizing downtime.

BYD, China National Truck Company, Dongfeng Motor Corporation, Foton Motor, XCMG, SANY, FAW, Shacman, Sinotruck, Yutong, and Zoomlion are leading the charge.
Collectively, these 12 truck makers own a significant 61% of the zero-emission heavy truck market globally — 120,000 units worldwide.

The first delivery was to PepsiCo on December 1, 2022, turned over from Gigafactory Nevada.
Since then, there are no reports of Semis being produced or delivered. There were reports of ongoing technological developments of the commercial vehicle, but nothing beyond that.

The Cybertruck keeps driving in before the driver finally intervenes and steers into the correct lane.
"Any ideas why it chose the completely wrong lane? Has anyone ever experienced anything like this?" the user asked in the post.

The video showcased a Cybertruck on supervised FSD driving down the road. The car then takes a turn and continues to drive on the wrong side of the road, running the risk of crashing into oncoming traffic.

KXAN reached out to see if NHTSA heard back. The agency told us earlier this month that its investigation remains open and that Tesla’s response must be submitted by June 19.

NHTSA asked how the robotaxis will safely operate in low-visibility, like sun glare, fog, rain or snow. Those conditions are tied to previous accidents involving the company’s driver-assistance software.

“As members of the Austin delegation in the Texas Senate and Texas House of Representatives, we are formally requesting that Tesla delay autonomous robotaxi operations until the new law takes effect on September 1, 2025.” the letter read.

In order to get that authorization, an operator must demonstrate each vehicle is:
- Capable of operating in compliance with state traffic laws
- Capable of achieving a minimal risk condition if the automated driving system is rendered inoperable

Well, it might have something to do with several news outlets always writing articles with the headline “Tesla stock is at $x, time to buy the dip?”
I’m still waiting for the day one of them writes instead “Tesla stock is at $x, time to sell?”
Idiots will remain idiots, lose money last 3 years.

Absolutely agree with you, they aren’t doing their job. If some of the recipients of those pension funds had the insights, they would question why they hold a stock that has performed negatively over the last 3 years against a roaring S&P index.
Should be easy to make money during that time.

Instead of bitching about Musk's management, they could sell the shares they hold, take the profit and find a better investment. That's what pension funds managers are paid to do, but most of them follow the market index like sheep.
