Let Luigi handle it.

Can't wait for this case to take seven years, only to come to the same conclusion as all the others: "Trump and friends are corrupt criminals, but we'll let it slide."

Crabs boiling in a consumerist soup.

Too confident. Citizens are too fat and distracted to wake up to anything.

For what it's worth, there's been a few boycotts, mostly org'd on Reddit, which are holding. They aren't big, but seeing /r/anticonsumerism get to the logged out front page is a pretty good sign. Maybe people outside of the tech nerds are finally realizing what all this "consumerism" is doing to us.

Damn bro, you're always on point.

Get fucked. The moderates don’t have a leg to stand on and the Left won’t capitulate to Conservatives in blue ties. If the Center was so fuckin’ great, they would have a policy instead tiny black signs. Go polish Adams knob, the center is calling.

But then look at the Dow for the last ten years. The meltdown isn’t even a blip. Yet no one is talking about the absolutely batshit inflation of the market in the last ten years. There’s clearly some sort of manipulation going on. And they want you to be mad the scam is slightly down this week.

Lol. Imagine believing this. Teflon Don has gotten away with literally everything for 50 years. You think any of our spineless politicians or businesspeople will do anything? Muddock: "I don't like what you're doing to me business, I won't support you." Trump: "I own the military."

Attacking a washed author from 20 years is so incredibly pointless. Outside of engagement farming. Be petty about something important.

Yeah, Cuban ain't a billionaire.

Thank god I'm not the only one. S2 reminds me of Lost: random animals without purpose, special holes to go down, and an endless stream of question added each episode. Start answering shit.

Just start cancelling. Most stuff is pointless garbage anyways.

One can only hope. If the gun nuts ever want to be seen seriously as anything other than NRA shills and Right-wing sheep, they'll start killing those who are stealing from us and those who support those who steal from us.

Which is why billionaires are asking people to become dependent on it.

No. Block me if you don't like it.

Perhaps we're expecting different things? I just wanted to know what the context was for his comment, as social media is rife with random claims on entirely nebulous topics such as this.

(Not a comment on you or your content personally.)

Regarding 2, Do folks not "pay attention?" Or is the content they respond to not much better than the content they are contributing? "Shitposting" and "meme account" are part of the social media verbiage for a reason. I'd not expect high quality comments when 80% of the OPs are low effort garbage.

Yes. The exact issue. The person I actually responded to before you had to "um actually" me hadn't provided any argument. Just some nebulous claim which can be entirely disproved or proved depending on who is Googling.

(3/n) ... And if ya get to this far down the thread, this is in response to you, but the original comment was to someone else. One of the reasons I follow you is b/c you're loud about specific issues and regularly link to exact topics.

(2/n) ... in the lack of proof or description. Wild, unbounded claims are exactly how you end up with a population wanting RFK as the leader of American health. I'm just disappointed in progressive voices regularly stooping to conservative standards of discussion. ...

(1/n) Yes we do, when we just make claims without pointing to anything concrete. There's foreign media interference, voting machine debates, internal political manipulation (like gerrymandering), discrimination. The issue I bring up isn't in whether or not there may be an issue, but ...

Since you seem to be new to news. Articles supporting any bias can be quickly Googled. When making wide, nearly unfalsifiable claims, the bounds need to be made clear. Else we're just providing fodder for abuse. Russia must be foaming, as we con ourselves every 4yrs. apnews.com/article/tech...

Yes. Unbelievable laziness is the reason why people like me ask for proof. Because we've lived in a decade of nonstop "no proof is needed, just believe everything some rando on Twitter states." Not displaying proof is exactly how you create a nation of people who believe in anti-vax BS.

Thanks for this Ryan!

Weird that proof since 2012 wasn't even on the radar when the other side was complaining about election issues ~four years ago. Not disagreeing or claiming falseness, just interesting folks suddenly believe in election interfere proof.
comment in response to post
Do you have any proof of manipulation? Or are we just the new Right, complaining about "rigged elections" when there's essentially zero actual proof of such.

Bro, you’re “they”.

Lefties out here acting like throwing random stats in ppl's faces work. No. The system continuing to break is the point. Trump ain't about "owning the libs". He's about destroying whole thing. And most, rightly, agree. Dems need to get their shit together and kill billionaires to take back power.

Strong men build systems of oppression and disadvantage where they refuse to listen to anyone. I'm sure Obama is considered a strong man. And all he did was bomb 400,000 ppl to death and force us all to be private HC customers under threat of prison.

Just in case: Fuck you nazis, I don't agree with anything you've to say, even if I think whites aren't as bulletproof as some believe we are.

Essentially any and all rights associated with economic mobility, the right to work, and the right to education. Rights all of us are fighting for, not just "cis White men." Other groups have many more rights which need to be fought for than just those above, no doubt.

99% of students are taught prescriptively. "This is how English 'should' be." Maybe they understand rule-based language, but the rules they think about are the ones preordained from "them", whomever them is. The people who control language rules, the 90 year olds at Oxford writing the dictionary?

Just another way to say "I'll accept Super PAC money and keep the status quo." Funny how 'moderate' policies always end up with lower capital gains taxes and less funding for public education.
