Ultimately, it feels like the question that doesn't get asked enough is whether Alberta or Canada is doing enough to assuage BC's concerns.

As Chris writes, I'm also unconvinced that BC's objection is rooted in the province not getting enough benefit from a pipeline.
Probably BC politicians are just responding to the concerns of their constituents (as politicians tend to do).
