I'm so conflicted by this thing, the knee-jerk reaction was "OoooOooh... ehhh...?" But probably really cool to see in person

Your photos are amazing, but I think part of being an artist is seeing all the flaws in your work. And when you're not feeling it, when you're depressed or stressed out etc, all you see are the flaws. Hang in there and be kind to yourself!

Also it's 2025 and somebody behind me in the theater didn't know what a platypus looks like, which I'm still trying to process

The nail in the coffin for me and duolingo was finding out the owl is actually a passive aggressive dick on purpose, because the founder thought it would be motivating

I sheared a coil on my Abarth, but a damper!? That's impressive!

In '99 I, a white teenage girl, lost my passport in France. I got back in the country with: a photocopy of a photocopy of my passport, a school ID w/o address/DOB on it, a note from the consulate in Nice, and a police report the Milan airport made me do.
Oh, and spelling my last name at customs 🙃

Thanks, I hate it!
It looks like when somebody uses one of those comic-style filters on a bad selfie. Except the hair, wtf is that weird loop on the hair???

This is why Mini Wheats are called Mini Wheats! The big Wheats came first

My orange started eating the bristles off our broom! Thankfully we figured out what he was doing before he ate too much to pass

Meanwhile, my sister's cat (rip) used to eat butter. She couldn't leave it out even in a covered dish, he'd figure out how to open it to get to that buttery deliciousness

Oh yeah, and if you leave a hot pepper out on the counter they'll treat it like a chew toy for some reason. Just hot peppers, they ignore bell, ignore all other veg. But jalapeños? Fuck jalapeños, apparently 🤷♀️

One cat won't eat any people food, not chicken, not bacon, if it doesn't come out of the treat jar he won't eat it.
The other one will beg any time you eat, no matter what it is. She's a big fan of tortilla chips and Lay's salt and vinegar

I use GPS to get to places I've never been before, or places that I only go to once or twice a year. But I'm also great at memorizing landmarks, and can also navigate by the sun, so it doesn't take much for me to memorize a route. I've known folks who can't even get around the town they grew up in!

My dad once blew a temporary cap off an incisor trying to hold in a sneeze, since then it's been full-werewolf from him every time. Mine aren't quite as loud, but I usually let them rip rather than risk pulling a muscle lol

If you burn down a forest, you don't miss out on lumber for just that season. You have to replant all the trees, nurture them, and wait for them to grow.
The science and research budget cuts happening now are wanton, senseless arson. Recovery, if it ever happens, will take generations.
