I think litrpg will remain an underground phenomenon.
Mainstream gatekeepers aren’t readers of this subgenre and I suspect they have zero clue as to why it has so much appeal.
It will probably blow up into mainstream in 30+ years.

I’ve thought about founding a space for this. Mine would be an earthship in New Mexico. We could do a day trip to the Ojo Caliente hot springs.

Thanks! It’s my 6th and makes this series complete. Sad that it’s so invisible. Maybe I need to stay in the kiddie pool, aka the web serial world.

Many indie publishers offer audio only contracts. They pay for audiobook production. You keep the ebook and print rights.

@georgenewbern.bsky.social Thank you for narrating this series! It's awesome to hear it in a voice that's not in my head.

WAY more fun.
But today is the book launch for the end of my epic series, so I have to be a cringey loudmouth on social media.

They are the most benign form of book marketing, for me.

KT Hanna and Rachel ni Cuirc have books she’s narrated. I hear good things!

You might want to listen to something narrated by Andrea Parsneau. She is immensely talented and among my favorite female narrators. The Wandering Inn is great, if that’s up your alley.

Yeah, I think that creating art and writing are an equivalent to actual meditation.

Oh yeah, the fake authors. I don’t know who they think they’re fooling or why they think that angle works.

Also, greeting an author by misspelling their name or showing your utter cluelessness about their book is not the way. Generic greetings are a sign that you are a scammer.
Try being a human being. Engage with the art.
Otherwise, any author with a brain will clock you.
