Not to go off on a tangent but this is also kinda why I dislike modern baby diaper designs. They're meant to resemble underwear or clothing because that's for parents who don't want to think about 'diapers' as a thing. But they move farther away from (imo) the platonic ideal of what a 'diaper' is.

I would argue that it's about intent of the user or intent of the manufacturer too. They're designed to resemble underwear and move away from the idea of what 'diapers' are.

I get that they can be cute and there's fun roleplay with it... but they're meant to emulate underwear/training pants. I'm not shaming anyone who's into pull-ups lol. I think I agree with you actually. I agree that there is a non-sexual emotional component to this, but there is still that link to sexual desires and although I wouldn't want to make a blanket statement for everyone in this space, I think a lot of people are in denial about their sexual desires.

I'm not telling anyone what to do and I don't think it's 'all' who claim to be non-sexual with it. I guess I think that on some level this stuff is linked to sexual desires and often people are in denial or don't like to talk about it. Would never shame anyone for how they experience this though.

Spicy one: Non sexual age play and age regression is not as much of a thing as people make it out to be. And many of the people who identify that way are in denial and should be on the same side as sexual ABDLs.
