My only interest was, at first religious and now historical.

Aramaic is the original language of the Old testament of course and also the language of the intertestamental writings.
There have been many mistranslations and outright inventions over the last 2000 years.
Many of these were to suit current political biases.
Then, as now, they just made shit up.

I have studied world religions extensively and find many of them interesting but I don't follow any of them. I'm a confirmed atheist.
