The 50 people are so who see my Facebook posts every day may be surprised to know that it’s news I see first on blue sky

Vance understands that smart people are cooking here.

if there are 5000 actual non-bot people like me who share information that they are able to find here on Facebook or tiktok and then other people repost that info, that’s a lot of eyeballs from the people who may not see the information in this horrible news environment

no amount of “ blue sky is dead” article articles will change the fact that for people like me (and there are a lot of me) this has become a news aggregate like early Twitter and I take that information and I post it in other places.

and I think that Vance is joining blue sky because he figured out that shit is also happening here. Because it is.

(this is true for young leftists also, who IMO seemed to be a little jealous of the success of the No Kings protest)

i love that he probably can’t afford a hot dog from the gas station

He's on a really epic losing streak at home and abroad. What's more, nobody at the G7 (or anywhere) really has any use for him. I don't recall a more impotent, ostracized, poorly thought of president in our modern history. At his parade, at G7, he gives off a very very strong pissed off loser vibe.

look she’s probably paid thousands for her perfect Fox Lady hair, that’s a sunk cost if she’s not going to be on air all the time

Agreed. my local protest on saturday had more young ppl than earlier ones, including my son and couple of his friends. I would say the median age ticked down a few years.

I have said this multiple times on this platform, but put him in a room with say 8-10 of these Boomer women who hate his guts, and he would be reduced to a steaming pile of orange pulp in MINUTES.

and I think Trump & Co are kinda “oh shit” about it because the vast majority of the participants have been old white women. Hard to make them seem scary!! (but my god they are very scary)

it took months of building communications to make No Kings Day happen. Communication that was outside the party apparatus.

and my sense is that they’ve been under the radar of the right wing media ecosystem too for similar reasons. They’re boring. This past weekend was a wake up call to the GOPfluencers

this organizing is done by MOSTLY older women and moms. Wine Cat Cringe Libs.

they have groups that lookout for ICE in my city so that people can be alerted and show up, and they offer tips and guidance for how to conduct yourself as a witness

it’s been MONTHS of their organizing - apparently under the radar - of bridge stand outs and rallies, etc. all done outside the party on platforms that are still widely shared by everybody like facebook

I truly think it’s part of the invisibility of older women, even when they are holding up a sign with a guillotine on it at every local protest since january
