Someone tell him Biden was killed in 2020.

Tell us about rigging the election. We know you did.

Haha, exactly what I’m doing.

Blues fan too, but I agree. If it’s not one of those two I’m just not into it.

Pathetic. Vote this turkey out!

Old dude here. We used maps and street signs. We would stop at convenience stores for directions. We didn’t know how bad we had it. You learned which long avenues ran certain directions. For example, in Memphis you learned Madison, Poplar, and Union all took you back to the river.

Oh I see. I understand.

Sad, sad game for Cardinal fans. Ankiel had such great stuff.

Turns out five hits in a row was a bad sign. Also, did you see the Royals whispering to each other as they passed the on-deck circle? Someone was picking up something. I think.

I think his wife died just a couple months ago. He’s 87 now.

Or some middle infielders.

Hope that’s the case.

I don’t know about private lessons, but there are several places around the Triangle where you can take classes, some online. One in Carrboro (James Carter Studio). Also one in Hillsborough. Of course there are numerous locations in Asheville.

Sounds good to me. We usually skip breakfast and lunch, then eat dinner early. That means we’re taking turns raiding the pantry around nightfall. Not good….

Was having the same conversation w my wife today. She always stresses over what we’re having. I really don’t care. Bowl of cereal is fine w me.
comment in response to post
Yep, I think you’re right.
comment in response to post
And I’m fine w that. We have too many young guys who need it.

Heck I saw them in the 70’s and 80’s too.

It’s an epidemic these days. I also love the cars turning that can’t give you two steps before they turn behind you as you cross.

I’m with you. Even if it means giving someone in the rotation a break or going with a sixth starter during this 33-game stretch. And chances are we’ll need a long man too, given the innings and the teams we’ll be facing.

I agree! Also would love to see McGreevy come up. I know they want to keep him as a starter but they’re going to need help in the ‘pen.
comment in response to post
Thanks for the warning. I’ll make sure to turn my head.

Don’t need a weatherman to know which way the wind is blowing.
comment in response to post
Well, not all of us, but I do get your point.
comment in response to post
For sure.
comment in response to post
McGreevy please.

It’s because MLB isn’t recognizing Lou Gehrig day, it’s for ALS awareness. I just learned this as well….

That kid from Apex is something else.

Sarge!

Roger Freed, the only man to hit a ball out of Busch Stadium II, albeit foul. Dude cranked foul HR’s all the time. Also, Larry Jackson was severely underrated.

MLB should feel fortunate to get away from ESPN. They’ve done nothing but degrade the product while building up the NBA and Wrestling. Good riddance.

Wow. The media reported it was a conflict among neighbors. Pathetic.

Bull. They won the SEC but their ass is at home now.

The other suggestion I’d make is to wait a few months until the new variants are in the shot (hoping the idiot administration doesn’t forbid it). Once it’s ready, get that one since it’ll be updated. It’s frustrating. I helped develop these vaccines and it’s beyond me how we got here.
comment in response to post
Any hope of using McGreevy in the ‘pen? He’s been lights out and they will need the help.
comment in response to post
Just tell them you’re immuno-compromised. I know it’s crazy but…..

Wish the others had as much sense as you. Every year we hear from the national media how he’s underrated, then they forget their words when it’s time to vote.
comment in response to post
Anybody know why? They were the home team last night already.

Hope those aren’t the recalled cucumbers. Maybe the alcohol will help.

I love those birds. When I was a kid I would find their nests in the gravel lot near my house. They build the nest on the ground, full of pebbles, and their eggs look just like the pebbles. If you get close to the nest, they’ll act like they’re hurt and lead you away.

She’s not wrong. Instead of a pitch clock and all this other gimmicky nonsense, if the umps would just open up the strike zone all would be okay. Hitters would swing if they knew the zone was wider.
comment in response to post
Got it. Great place to watch a game for sure.

Looks great! Hey, looks like you might have been at the Bulls/Redbird game. Any Cardinal minor leaguers catch your eye?

My last name is Burns and the kids in school called me Frank. Every girlfriend was Hot Lips. This hits hard for me😜.

Pfft. We’re not scared.

Really hate to hear this. I was following your reports on him. I’m not sure what to say. I wish him and your family the best.
comment in response to post
Don’t look. Is that enough?
comment in response to post
He may run down Vinegar Bend before it’s all said and done.
comment in response to post
He was a really good pitcher.
