They did not do so on purpose and anyone who did was immediately disavowed by the rest of the ANC. Most of the civilian deaths were of their own and again, were disavowed by the rest of the ANC.

You can do two things at once: condemn the IDF AND condemn Hamas. Palestinians are actively protesting Hamas and are actually standing up for themselves, meanwhile you have others outside of the conflict (like yourself) rooting for them to keep committing terrorist attacks.

You can do that against the IDF; not citizens who are in not in combat and aren’t military targets. Resistance doesn’t mean you can commit crimes. The ANC was fighting an apartheid fascist state and was actively against violence against citizens.
