I once saw a fortune that said "Reevaluate your plans for future success" *on a college campus during finals* and suspected it was part of a psy-op.

Two thoughts:
1. If you order a scoop of kulfi with your London Fog at the cafe / ice cream shop, the barista will immediately clock the plan and think you're a genius.
2. RIP to the place in Louisville that had a Derby Pie Milkshake *with a whole slice of pie chopped up and mixed in*. Heaven.

Have you tried Chantelle through Nordstrom? I like the C Magnifique underwire bra, which separates pretty well. They're expensive, but you can get weird colors on sale sometimes.

If you learn it as a child, you develop fine motor skills more quickly that can then be used in all sorts of areas.

People of a certain way of thinking, rather, and that way is fascist.

All my vocabulary is from the medieval sagas, but luckily "farmers" make an appearance both in the sagas & in this article! (No axes or hewing, thankfully)

I see one pro-war author who is remembered for something horrible

Yes, the title has almost nothing to do with the article. He also does more than a little lying with statistics in the article (on income inequality), but I expect that of him. What did you find particularly useful, if you're still around?

Not that Tim Burton is upper-class housing, but in some of the Guardian Stately Homes of the Week, there are some odd places. The anti-cold makes more sense.

Thanks for answering! I'm in America, so nothing that old, and I'm also allergic to dust, so I avoid wall-to-wall whenever possible. It's so odd to see it on what I consider upper-class housing in the UK, as hardwood is really a mark of caste over here.

I'd say someone needs at least five breakfasts after that exhausting walk...

Why the wall-to-wall carpet everywhere? Especially in cream? And especially when you are Tim Burton? This is a real question if anyone wants to answer it...

No idea what word it could be, but could the *concept* either be something about location ("move the toy / dog / baby / whatever") or something about other people being involved ("(you / Taf / baby) also have the porridge with me")?
When you figure it out, please report back! We're invested now.

I love James Frain SO MUCH!!! Anything he is in is worth watching. Go back if you have time & watch his stuff from the late 90s -- major eye candy.

Thanks for this, Michael. As usual, the mainstream media isn't giving us the full story on what went down (the procedural "mishap"). And I always appreciate your narrative style.

My dermatologist loved me so much when I showed up with pictures of the rash I'd had (in England!) 2 weeks before instead of just being like "I don't know, it was red & itchy." But yes, a strange folder to have on the phone...

I am so with you here. So happy to go 10 and sightsee through a medieval rural village. Extra slow for safety. Esp. with children in the car.

I've got to say, the Episcopal Church is doing pretty well opposing Trump these days. They are not at all bad folks to hang out with on the barricades.

No, wait, I figured it out! That's Isabella's head; she's lying sort of perpendicular to everybody else.
