Domani's piece on Georgian protest on their Independence Day show the continuing struggle for liberty among contentious points, firstly authoritarian laws like that on foreign agents, a crackdown on NGOs. The same newspaper sheds light on the chaos inside the NRC in Italy which will have no head.

Both La Repubblica and La Stampa speak at length of the confidence vote-protected security bill. In a piece Domenico Quirico, and after a demonstration in Rome M5S MP Federico de Raho argue about how the demonstration provision in the bill is, effectively,"anti-Gandhi" for its impact on dissent.
