Well, now that Trump has been told he must "shoulder full responsibility" that'll fix everything. His track record for taking responsibility for his actions is stuff of legend.

I remember at the beginning of the HIV epidemic, she said it was a punishment from God. Somewhere, there is a news clip of this, it's burned into my psyche.

Nobody's telling us what she was allergic to. I'm already planning gift baskets for Christmas.

Does anyone know what she was allergic to? Just curious.

I was grateful to be able to attend the protest in my town. It profoundly helped ease the gnawing dread of living under this regime seeing all my neighbors wanting our democracy to survive. Only thing... it was so mellow and pleasant that I didn't feel very revolutionary, just happy to be there.

Doing the right thing, standing up fro justice, protesting against authoritarianism, isn't transactional. What good does it do? For me, it let's me know I'm part of a community, also it makes Trump feel sad (which is a big plus in my book.)

If I were Trump, I'd put Peggy Lee's "Is That All There IS" on a loop, get a nice pile of In-and-out cheese burgers, and wallow in the misery for a couple of days.

The weather was sunny and cool with a light breeze, also the giant crowd was mellow and courteous. Frankly, I don't know how I survived.

Just got back from the San Francisco march. A bajillion people and so very chill. I needed it so bad, it cheered me up to see so many people who cared about our democracy. I saw only one policeman, really handsome, and I was tempted to do something naughty just so he might rough me up a bit.

Mmm, maybe not. Putin will tell Trump to stay out of it.

"No Nevilles!" could be a good slogan for Democrat Primary Season in 2026.

My theory: there's always been a substantial percentage of horrible people; being horrible is a feature not a bug in humans. But! it's not sustainable, it's chaotic, entropic, ultimately it leads to their own destruction. It's an adaptation that self-edits out bad ideas that limit human progress.

Unfortunately, the thing that will bring Trump and Musk back together is how much fun the rest of us are having. They won't be able to let that stand.

For the moment, we should sit and watch, but we needn't be polite about it. Let's see in which directions the self-destruction will go, and encourage it.

Instead of bemoaning the linking of taco and trump, let's celebrate the taco, especially the delicious chicken taco, as a symbol of resistance.

He's never taken a bus in his life. ALSO, the complaint is just so delicate and precious. I thought the GOP were all manly he-men.

I saw it as a promise, not a threat. No HRC = no taco trucks = another disappointment.

Let's make June 14th, National Taco Day, specifically chicken tacos. At the No Kings Day celebrations there should be taco trucks serving chicken tacos. We're making fun of King Buffoon with every delicious bite.

No, we ruin his birthday by making June 14th national TACO day. We enjoy our tacos knowing we are making fun of him with every delicious bite.

At the No Kings Day celebrations there should be taco trucks. We should eat tacos all day. I could do that.

I live in the arguably the bluest of cities, and there's a burnt out building in my neighborhood. Last week I noticed that Chickfil-A has a poster indicating "future home of Chickfil-A." It is a touristic area, but I imagine they won't be too welcomed here.

Spectacle, being spectacle, will always seem to win, but that doesn't mean it is winning. We undermine it, outmaneuver it, out smart it, every chance we get. Sure, "nobody knows", but that also doesn't matter. Narrative is not reality.

He never stops with the con...ever. He might old public office, but he's just another cheesy cheat and crook. When he says anything, all I can think of is one of those emails that tell me I've won an I-phone from a contest I never entered.
