Amen. If punishment worked, we would already have fixed everything. We're world champs at incarceration.

The maybes are why I used the word "potentially" in my first comment on this.
It is a crime to poison your food with the intention of harming someone who has been stealing it. It's not trolling to point that out and suggest you don't confess in a video. 🤷♂️

You can't plausibly argue number 3 after you make a video stating your intention was to harm the person taking your food. That means your food wasn't intended only for you to eat. That's the problem.
I don't know how to be any more clear about that. Take care.

You're missing the distinction. Adding to your own food isn't the problem.
Doing it with the intention of harming someone you know will take the food is the problem. That part is a lot harder to prove unless you do something like make a video admitting to it.

The video caption says the ghost peppers are there because someone keeps stealing food. That's the problematic admission.

Don't admit to potential crimes and especially don't post it online.

The problem isn't just the people behind Trump. It's that DoD and Bragg leadership let the military be politicized.

I mean we did elect him. He's not wrong to think that.

One of the things I like about my family is none of them ever voted for Ronald Reagan.

If you voted for Trump, you're not a moderate.

We can just say exiled like Trump sending people to the gulag now. No need for historical references.

That's because they don't actually care that much about sexual assault. But they do care if they think you are locker room poison.

We're obsessed with treating non-white boys as men when it comes to our carceral system. It's gross.

We should be skeptical of every claim this government makes, including a claim that someone is undocumented.

Court and jury deference to prosecutors and cops needs to be factored in there for criminal cases.

It's sort of like "what if Hitler didn't attack the Soviets?" They're too maniacal, insecure, and stupid to do things competently, which is what might save us.

Seems pretty acceptable still if you spend 2 seconds looking at GitHub.

All it took to end democracy was one insane man who is immune to shame.

Are you really not able to see how 77 million people voting for Trump is a condemnation of them as voters? The choice was an authoritarian bag of shit or a standard Dem.

It's also just very stupid. You can't terraform Mars if you can't even fix climate change on Earth.

What happened last November is 77 million racists chose to vote for fascism. Voters chose wrong.

Complicit isn't strong enough. They have been pushing racism and xenophobia for decades. They arguably started this.

You're trying to fact check an opinion. I was expressing my disgust that so many people like Trump.
I didn't say a majority or a plurality. I said millions. If you can show me a poll that doesn't have millions of people supporting the worst things he's doing, I'd be happy to see it.
comment in response to

Millions of people support his moves on immigration no matter what poll you want to look at.

Pretty gross that so many people like his immigration policy.

I personally know people on Medicaid who are rabid MAGA supporters and they will find a way to blame Dems if they lose their Medicaid. It's very depressing.

Criticism and persecution aren't the same thing. Christians are not persecuted in the US. Period.

I've been trying to get an appointment at my local SSA office. Every time I call, I sit on hold for 20 minutes. Then I get a message that they're too busy and it disconnects. No option to sit on hold longer or leave a message.
And what I need can't be done online or via the automated phone system.

Racism and misogyny are why we're in this mess. Voters had a choice between a more-than-qualified woman and a giant bag of autocratic shit. Voters failed.
