I think one of WEG's rulebooks came up with a similar patch? I've definitely heard this idea somewhere before

to be honest, it took me too long to find out "sublight" just meant space travel without using hyperdrives

same. especially with the choice of decals on the upper lip

no one is seriously 'theorizing' this, but they know it's ridiculous and they know people are gonna get mad about it in the replies and sassy QTs. please don't get baited, people, or they'll never stop doing this shit

Plunkett was one of the people from the comics side that got brought into Lucasfilm Animation. I think he's been art directing shows there for a long time now

you should check out the 5-issue Lando miniseries written by Charles Soule. it's a different vibe from Cam's work, but the atmosphere Maleev's art creates with Paul Mounts' colors is immaculate

as far as I know, it's up in the air now if the show will continue after the film, with the landscape of streaming shifting as is

to me, "legend status" feels reserved for characters with longer campaigns than four issues

Maul Shadow Lord too, of course. I just don't know where projects like Visions would premiere at all if not for streaming, if that makes any sense
comment in response to post
I hope the pivot back to film doesn't come at the cost of all experimental streaming outings. for now, I'm just glad Visions season 3 and Ninth Jedi have a platform to exist on!

his rendition of Nar Shaddaa is great. using the OT3 on a prequel-esque planet seamlessly was quite a feat to me, back when I first began familiarizing myself with the SW setting

No droids, no 𝔹𝔼𝔼asts just men and cargo

I was under the impression they did. if not beforehand, when they learn the shield gate has them trapped, then after sending the plans, when they're going down the elevator defenseless. but I'd have to revisit the dialogue to be sure

Oh wow, I think I sat nearby you at one of the panels! Probably the Rebels finale screening. Your cosplay was so cool!

There's a really good manga adaptation of the novel that illustrates some of this: bsky.app/profile/adam...

i am also conscious of the fact that when i feel like a public figure is becoming 'overexposed' like this, it's not that they're yapping too much it's just that Content Aggregators turn every soundbite into its own tweet/article

I mean, these are also the last faces either of them will ever see after giving it all for the mission. That seems reason enough

I have a big LG C3 setup here at home, and I can confirm it looks great on it : ). yours should be even brighter!

I do honestly think watching this movie on a nice and bright HDR screen beats seeing it in a theater where the projection could be too dim. but I like cinematographer Bradford Young's previous work on Pariah anyway

unfortunately, putting it between two huge superhero films at the time was a Bob Iger call, apparently

In the films, it's usually such a quiet and ominous presence in space. An object of that mass suddenly blinking into presence sounds insane, visually

Imagine the Death Star jumping out of hyperspace

I feel like trying to make sense of it across mediums is overdoing it, but that's just my two cents

I wonder if they considered giving him contacts like with Eman's Ezra, but decided against it because it was distracting

the green eyes are a caveat of going from animation to live-action, imo. they always switch between them depending on the medium
