I continue to be deeply moved by this statement to the heavens by President Carter.

I’m having too much fun with this… suno.com/song/614fc0e...

I’ve just recently discovered how much fun “writing” music with AI is. suno.com/song/7b58531...

It’s the weekend. Finally, it’s time to spend 48 hours keeping the naughty puppy off kitchen counters and ignoring the constant demand barking.

I have to say: Bluesky has really gotten much more interesting lately.

My sourdough starter is named Frodough Baggins.

Ships numbers 98, 99, and 100 of my #XwingTMG collection arrived this week. Think I might be about done, sadly. But I can now field pretty great squads for all 7 factions (some better than others).

Bluesky now has over 10 million users, and I was #2,304,467!

Thursdays stink for being busy. School until 3:45, Professional Development at the library from 4-5, soccer practice at 5:30, PTA meeting from 6-7:30. I’m exhausted.

Done with Inservice. Kids start on Tuesday. Excited and nervous, just like I am every year.

Got this guy over the weekend. Never played a game with a Huge Ship, but would love to try. Looking for a Corellian Corvette to add to the collection in order to make it happen (buddy plays Republic, I play Separatist) #Xwing

It's the weekend, baby

She’s so cute. And so naughty.

Today is the last day of Summer Break for me (excluding the weekend). Meetings at school on Mon and Tues, then PD starts on Wednesday. I could swear that summers keep getting shorter and shorter.

This is so strange to see in the #Olympics. I have no idea what’s going on, either. Are we winning?

First work meeting of the school year. The next two weeks are going to go too fast!!!

I’m currently sitting on about 2500 Pokémon living in the GBA,DS, and 3DS games. Having a hard time deciding if I should migrate them up to Home or leave them be. Been pondering this since the server shutdown back in April.

I can barely describe my sadness that #X-Wing Miniatures has stopped production. Ships are already getting really hard to find, and those that remain are at exorbitant prices. This was my first (and only) miniatures game, and I still love it.

Went with the spouse to see the new Deadpool movie this weekend. It was simultaneously hilarious, heartwarming, and disturbing. Loved it (even though Act I somewhat dragged on).

The reaction time on the table tennis players is just insane. I have a hard time even watching the ball with the speed it’s moving at. Super fun to watch, though! #Olympics

I’m going to have a student teacher for the first time this fall semester. I’m both excited and terrified. Any advice from teachers who get them regularly? #EDUsky

I’ve been watching Dressage for almost an hour and still have no idea what’s going on. #Olympics

Is anyone else really intrigued by #Acolyte so far? It still has me engaged and asking all sorts of questions. Pretty good Star Wars.

First year of teaching in a big city is in the books for me! It was pretty successful, I’d like to think. Very different from small town, rural schools.

Her name is Zelda. She’s cute. And naughty.

Last week we lost a beloved member of our family when we had to put our 11-year-old black lab to sleep. Our household is very sad, still.

I’ve almost finished Mario Wonder, and can say that I’ve had an absolute blast with it. Don’t know if I’ll go back and 100% it soon, though. I’ve got DW: Monsters to play, next!

Today will be Day 2 of my first ever Intro to Journalism course. Still nervous about it, but mostly because I’m not as planned out with a curriculum as I’d like to be (Unit One is still a work in progress) #EduSky

I’ve been slowly making my way through the History of Middle Earth. I started Vol IV (The Shaping of Middle Earth) this week, and it is fascinating to see how the world of the First Age evolved.

Snow Day tomorrow. Huzzah.

I used Revision History for the first time in a G Doc essay. I was pleasantly surprised by how few of my 80+ essays were just copy/pasted. I highly recommend the tool, though. Very insightful for seeing how much time students are actually spending on the writing process. #EduSky #EnglishTeachers

Nothing says “Merry Christmas” like the Temple of Doom.

Bacon. That is all.

Hosting family for the holidays is both a blessing and a curse. Love not needing to travel. Hate all of the prep work in the preceding days.

Just ate some expired Toaster Strudel. Hope I don’t die.

At the big Sectional Meet for Robotics today. Go, Robotic Eagles, go!

Later this week I’m going to be teaching resume writing to my seniors. I’ve written about a million of them for myself, but never taught it in a class before. Any good tips/ideas/resources? #EduSky

Kids are gone this morning (spent the night at Grandparents’ house). What better way to spend a quiet Sunday than with some EV training? #Pokemon #LazySunday
