Of course — 400 years of “baby steps” & we are STILL waiting, even as the majority of white voters who voted, voted for the country to move backwards when white supremacist ideology was the explicit law of the land.
No other majority of any other racial group of voters did.
But yeah: “baby steps.”

Not to me.
But then sarcasm, humor, etc., are often lost in translation on social media.🌸
Thanks for clarifying.

Not “a few crazed folks,” but the majority of white voters who decided — unlike the majority of Black & non-Black poc who voted — that the white supremacist ideology on which his campaign was based WAS. NOT. a dealbreaker for them.

Not when one considers that he ran an openly white supremacist campaign that was a dealbreaker for the majority of every other racial group of voters who voted, EXCEPT for white voters who voted.
I would say more “telling” than “weird.”

Trump ran a white supremacist/white nationalist campaign.
OPENLY.
And that was a dealbreaker for the majority of every other racial group of voters who voted, EXCEPT for white voters who voted.
Seems like he DID fill THAT void.

This is true only if one is talking about hurting a majority of white Americans at one time.
If one is also including Black & non-Black poc, this does not hold true.😶

Nope.
These are POLICY decisions, and they are DELIBERATE.
“Lazy” is a lazy explanation.🌸

And why should he when the country always lets him get away with it?
Limits are never enforced.
Which is why he keeps on doing it.
It is horrible. . .

That train always runs.
And always on time, too.

That he polled 40% says soooooo much about this country.
And we know the overwhelming majority of that 40% are white voters.😶

#AmeriKKKa’s inability to honestly deal with “who we used to be” is part of what got it here.😶

Yes, Black people know this. It was our ancestors who endured this in this “land of the free, home of the brave.”😶

To the people he ENslaved.
He was an enslaver.

I did not get that at all.
Thank you for your clarification.
