Delighted for Hendo and Palace, who did everything else to deserve to win the cup. But the keeper handling the ball outside the area while competing with an attacker has been a red for as long as I’ve watched football. We’re being gaslit with these rule interpretations. It’s a red.

Painful and disappointing day and end to the season. Players giving it everything but have been running on fumes for several weeks now. We’ve got a dozen or so very good, trusted players and then there’s a cliff edge. A 38-game season plus cup run is about depth and we’re short. #nffc

I’m against a return to drinking in the stands at football. People getting up to go to the bar, coming back, needing the toilet constantly is a blight on rugby and cricket. If you can’t go 45 mins without a drink then either watch it in the pub or seek help. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
