I’m watching MSNBC; they are reporting that the violence by the protesters is rare and not the norm. The problem is they keep showing a clip of a burning police car, not the line dancing. What !!? Images count and shape opinion!

I see that wikipedia now has articles about this and calls it "Tactical frivolity". The "Clown Army" were a good example of this back in the 2000s!
