3 for me. There was no Blockbuster anywhere near me. Rented lots from other stores & chains tho so I'm going to count it as a point. Also never sent a postcard, but received a few when I was little. I refused to use cheques, wanted nothing to do with them. Still don't.

I shouldn't miss this kind of stupid, yet amazingly it seems preferable to whatever the hell we have now.

I did feel that way. Now I'm in a weird space where I'm trying to let kid be on his own, but he's like me & won't contact anyone first, cos we both feel like we're imposing, so we never see each other. I'd love him to be at home again. Just not all the time. Can't find the middle ground.

that's an unusual one.

I like a soft baked cookie, but a bikky from a packet that has been dunked & goes soggy sets off my texture sensitivities into overdrive. Yuck.

that's so cool. There's something about Sonic I've always liked since way back to the Megadrive days. Never had any licenced merch though until much later, and even then it's only a little Tails plushie. Tails is adorable.

No wonder the last one cried on the way home after seeing that.

I love a good hoedown. Here's one of my faves from the old UK version. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LuR...

It's been such a hard and long process of trying to turn my health around. Still a long way to go, but all signs point to being on the right track.

Be nice if the outside matched what was going on inside, still i gotta take a win wherever those wins might be.

indeed. Only the dog sleeps with me in summer. Come colder weather it's all uneasy truce time as the heat vampire felines demand bed space too.

Seeing as the cat doesn't like the dog that much, if I upset the cat, he takes it out on the dog. It's a delicate balance. I must broker peace where I can.

the cat 100% the cat

I'd say yes. I enjoyed it. I wouldn't call it top tier must watch TV, but it's much better than I thought it would be. Can't remember how it ends though.

Pointing out the continued use of passive language perpetuated by news orgs seems like the moral thing to do. It's the same type used constantly in violence against women headlines. It's always minimising for the victim and/or running cover for the perpetrator. It deserves to be called out always.

I have no idea who that is and I'm going to trust John that I don't want to know.
