Looks like I lost a follower after the post I did about an organization that's working to make AI more environmentally sustainable. I might be wrong, but I don't think it's problematic to want to try to look for ways to fix what makes AI bad, instead of just writing it off completely.

"I'm putting this rock in rock jail, because it is being naughty." - a thing I never thought I'd say before I started building a reef tank. To be fair, the rock is a good rock; it's what's growing on it (aiptasia and clove polyps) that's misbehaving and must be taught the error of its ways.

I've managed to keep the marine snails alive, and the nitrites dropped sharply over the weekend! Discovered that Milldred seems to like dill. She destroyed an entire carrot chunk in less than a day. I strongly recommend millipedes as low-maintenance, super cool invertebrate pets.

For creatures traditionally associated with peace and holiness, doves are absolutely the horniest birds visiting my roof right now. Every time I look out the window I see the boy dove doing his little "HEY SEXY LET'S MAKE EGGS" hop while the girl is just trying to eat seeds. Like... dude. Chill.

You ever visit a building for the first time and recognize it from your dreams? It happened again yesterday - went inside a church, and recognized it from several dreams I've had. The architecture was very specific. Everything was exactly as I'd dreamed. I'd never set foot inside before yesterday.

Yesterday, I went to my LFS and traded an angelfish and all my firemouth cichlids (~17 of them) for some daffodil cichlids, a couple yo yo loaches (they're hired assassins that are going to take out my bladder snails), and some pearl danios. (All in separate tanks, obviously.)
