AI, and the politics, ethics, disputes, discourse around it, is becoming one of my hyperfixations. I lie awake at night thinking about it. I confess that I hope someone comes at me to argue about it - I have thoughts, but if they're wrong, I want to know how so I can let them go.

Welp, now I feel better about all the pens I've gone through... reuniting ink families, one page at a time...

My (very very cheap and probably not the best) light burned out, which means I will be buying a new, better, hopefully hardier one next paycheck.
Get your kids into reef keeping, and they'll never have any money for drugs...

I'm starting to feel emboldened to at least put some water in the empty 90 gallon tank that's been staring at me from my living room for the last two years.... Watch me say this now, and then finally do it in, like, a decade.

I'm convinced at this point that I probably wander around downtown, out of body, nearly every night, like a ghost. If I could achieve lucidity, I could probably, like, spy on people, but apparently I'm not that subconsciously well-coordinated.

Thing is, I don't always know, in my dreams, what the building's actually used for. I once had a dream I was lost in an airport, looking for my flight - turns out, it was a hospital. The 'kiosks' where I'd tried to check in for my flight were there, but they were machines the nurses were using.

This pair seems much more comfortable up on my roof than the other pair. The cats don't even seem to faze them. These two have been visiting for longer, which is probably why.
There are entire flocks of them down on the street... I just need to figure out how to lure them up here...

One of my favorite things about fishkeeping as a hobby is the community. The guy was so darn happy about those firemouths. Last summer, I bartered a clutch of mystery snails for his homegrown tomatoes. There's nothing like nerding out about fish with fellow fish nuts.
