Are there things online to help with this? I wonder if pre publish fact check would help, so as I type I get feedback on whether my claim is false instead of just a label after the fact.

Yeaaaah, it’s not even just AI. It’s somehow easier than ever to conform to the in-group bias and distance from the out-group. And opinions are a sort of “humble-bundle”.
I struggle with it all the time, and have realized that in person discourse is the only discourse I’m able to have productively.
