what about MAID, I guess it doesn't have purpose of retribution so it's ok to be state sanctioned.

bad policy to continue to weaken the economy seems like a great idea.

there was a private company that wanted to build that, but canada didn't want them to build it so they spent 4x more, but it was tax payers money so all good. How's Energy East and Northern gateway going?

Canadians will. we carry 175% household debt to income. The economy is in a recession already....

how will those countries get electricity? the liberals have blocked pipelines for oil and gas so can only flow to the US.

and what happens to the Canadian economy if they stop selling things.

you seem to take quite the leap there

if you let fauci stick around it would happen for sure.

The culling of birds is back... the need for it? What steps did previous administration take, other than say burn it all?

So you want to keep the slave labour?

isn't just people who are in departments whose job, is to look at diversity, not the people hired because of the department.

They did something similar when Carter was elected.

thought this was about trump not Biden

they can try but no way they would have enough support

Oh i thought maybe beagels in an ironic was on account of the horrific things fauci signed off on to happen to beagle puppies.

would unbiased journalism be if they just bashed trump all the time.
comment in response to

are they are still counting votes there....
comment in response to

you are saying they are innocent based on what evidence?
comment in response to

they went after trump so why not his family too.

protection against what if they didn't do anything wrong?

are those beagels?

you are right the only plan California has to to just hope and let things burn. The winds that come every yr. you can't do anything about and it is beyond imagination that you could plan for something that comes every yr.
comment in response to
post
or shameful that biden knows crimes were committed so wants to protect them from consequences.
comment in response to
post
yes they need maintenance. have you ever heard of contingency plans... if you have a key piece, you plan for when it needs maintenance and plan for things to continue to run. Gavin newsom also finds it troubling and ordered a investigation...
comment in response to

what about liberals who don't have the same opinion on everything the left does... do they deserve all the hatred too?
comment in response to

thought he was saying that you are punching liberals in the mouth and then they say fine guess I wont be on your team.

there's a federal party called the Bloq.. you never heard of them? them fighting for sovereignty is probably different, that AB for reasons? and to prevent a vote, Canada panders to Quebec, equalization, federal spendings bailing companies out.

if you are against the covid vaccine that means you are anti-vax, those were the rules.

doing control burns in the north part of caifornia probably doesn't help the area, maybe though. combined with California having 100million acres of forest and that's not including areas where it shrubs, pretty small... and in October they halted doing the burns.
comment in response to
post
unavoidable. So every yr the plan is to just cross yours fingers and hope. The cost is to great, isn't california the highest taxed state.... probably wouldn't take long to find hundreds of millions spent on pet project

then why weren't the power lines buried? why was the reservoir empty? why if they are planning don't they build more reservoirs/dams. It's desert like environment that has strong winter winds every yr...
comment in response to
post
well they didn't have the reservoir available to them. They haven't buried the overhead power lines? They don't clear underbrush, or do control burns.
comment in response to

you might just be making up things in your head to get mad about... why, especially when you or anyone know what's happening or going to happen.
comment in response to

they put country before province, as long as quebec gets the benefit. they do have a lot to lose, because by threatening separation they get everything they want.
comment in response to
post
by being friendly? if we have everything to lose shouldn't all options be tried, including the really bad thing of being friendly and not wanting a fight?
comment in response to
post
so the non rube thinks she's down there saying what, come invade canada?
comment in response to
post
correct. hence why does announcing in Alberta help him, especially when his main opponent was born and raised their.
comment in response to
post
correct. so their vote doesn't change anything in federal politics.
comment in response to
post
because the feds didn't want private industry to build. The lane is don't spend public dollars on things that private will cover. Everyone pays but albertans pay more and quebecors receive more
comment in response to
post
who knows maybe she telling him to bring back Keystone... maybe she's being friendly. The Prime minister is in a position to negotiate but isn't, he could be going to the inauguration like he did with biden but he'd rather go to a war room.
comment in response to
post
so the premier of Que. and the bloc are also traiters. They get to hold up infrastructure that would benefit canada. What happens to them... they get catered to and also rewarded for wnating to be independent.
comment in response to
post
you already do tax them.
comment in response to

albertas votes don't matter federally, elections are called before polling stations even close. His talk about increasing carbon taxes in an oil and gas province probably not going to go over as well as freeland message either
comment in response to
post
which would be why you have scenarios/plans so the fires don't get to that scale. the winds happen every yr, is the plan just, cross fingers and hope a fire doesn't start?
comment in response to
post
so couldn't he also hurt alberta if she said we're going to fight you?
comment in response to
post
Alberta didn't want Canada to build that line, they wanted Canada to allow a private company to spend their own money building it. but if you want, take it from the equalization payments
comment in response to
post
what difference would that make. If alberta is screwed with DS trying to be friendly with trump, wouldn't we also be screwed if the premier was wanting to fight with trump?
comment in response to
post
so in summary if DS signed the unity agreement and wasn't going to the inauguration, Canada wouldn't have a problem?
