"AI" is killing entry-level jobs, which means that a few years down the line companies won't have senior labour to hire. This also shows that talk about “AI literacy” and “AI skills” is a joke. You’re not gonna need any skills if employers aren’t employing in the first place

This books digs into what's wrong and points at some of the pre-existing solutions to the software crisis. The unemployment rate for recent college graduates is unusually high—and historically high in relation to the general unemployment rate

"I concur". But where is this?

Good observation. I find it curious that people are speculating about opinions on electric cars. I think in part, people associate EVs (rightly or wrongly) with Musk and thus their opinions are negative.

I'd just take the compliment. Nobody ever said I looked like anybody...except for somebody's grandpa. I've had kids come up to me in the grocery store and grab my leg and say "Grandpa!". Mother apologized...but I said "as long as I don't have to feed him or pay for his college, it's all good"

History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Of course the response is Deny. Deny. Deny. Discredit. Who could expect anything else when any of the cabinet and the president would not be able to get a security clearance. Period

We almost never sell fighters with all U.S. capability to other nations. Other nations many times have their own suites that they want installed...and some times even their own engines. There are plenty of other weapon systems that can be bought, and foreign countries (as often as not)

I was keying programs into the front panel switches on a PDP-11, then I blinked and 5 millennia passed. I still have my slide rule, paper tape, punched cards. I wish I had some write rings for 9 tracks...they were fun to play with.
