Edinburgh, is beautiful. Stayed with friends in West Caldor (half way tween Edin and Glasgow) and it was great. Get yourself on a day tour (at least) to see some nature. Also, if you like motorsport, karting on larkhall circuit (larkhallcircuit.com) was superb.

Communism is the practice of sharing wealth equally so much to the point of zero private ownership. The joke is that no nation seen as a 'communist nation' has actually achieved real communism. I'm sure you knew already but for anyone reading this threat who didn't, there you go. Have nice day.

I'm not even American and it's frustrating the shit out of me. I like people generally but 'orange tits' & his cuckoo of a sidekick need to go on an OceanGate style mission together. Swap out the sea & the Titanic, for Space and the centre of the sun. Get rid of them so the adults can talk again.

The fact his name is Wasserman is hilarious. Wassermann is German for Aquarius.

Most Valuable Player, like in team sport or video game. It's a country can holds it's own, helps out when it can and really thinks about the end goal.

I've never had much luck with the Geminids, I've seen a few over the years but never captured them. It's tricky this time of year with the weather, especially in the UK !

You don't need to explain it. Sure, some images are composites, using artistic license to make a scene look a little extra special, but there's just straight up beautiful images taken with nothing but a camera, a tripod and a lens.

I think you'd have to be in a really dark sky area (minimal light pollution) to notice it. You'll know its there but if you really wanna see it, then yeah, binoculars (10x50 at least) or a telescope is the way to go. That photo was taken through a telescope.

My unsolicited advice, get yourself some half decent binoculars. I have a pair of 10x50 (ironically made by ORION) and you can see the nebula surprisingly well.
If you ever wanna get into view the nights sky more, binoculars are the way to go.
