It's not just cruelty. It's gleeful cruelty. They aren't indifferent to the suffering they're causing. They don't feel that, while regrettable, it's justified. It's actively the goal. They're hurting people just because they have the power to do it. Monsters.

This is a wonderful update. Now we all know that he’s alive, and he knows that he’s not forgotten. Bless you for this.

You know what? The team should have declined to even do the ceremony after the shit trump pulled this morning. If they had, their trophy and dignity would be intact.

I'm sure we'll need to throw something in to make the numbers work, but whatever it takes to get rid of the demented orange demon and get Mr. Abrego Garcia back is worth it.

As I was talking politics with my 14 y/o son, I told him you were one to watch and might be the first person he gets to vote for. Thanks for what you’re doing.

My husband and I recently got our first EVs. We did not even consider a Tesla, and not because they’re bad cars.

Soliciting a minor? I can't believe that a drag queen was out there at the riot. Oh, wait, not a drag queen.

Beautifully written. I’ve never been prouder to be an Episcopalian than this week.

As she took that breath she must have considered that she could still skip that section and avoid blowback, but she decided to press on to speak the truth, come what may.

I ordered mine from Kizzy’s, an independent Black woman-owned bookstore. They had it in stock as of this morning at least.

While Republican politicians enable and billionaires rush to bend the knee, this priest calmly but forcefully speaks truth to power.

Putting the ignition key (not to be confused with the door key) in the keyhole on the steering column and feeling and hearing the car come to life when you turned it. Now I can leave my key fob at home and use my phone as the key!

I’m a probate lawyer. When a client wants to become executor or guardian I have to ask on the record if they’ve ever been convicted of a felony or crime of moral turpitude. That sort of thing is still disqualifying for some jobs. Fewer than I’d thought, turns out.
