I wish I could say the Supreme Court would laugh this out of the building but the truth is Roberts doesn't have enough integrity to put Law over Party.

As always, trump backs down. He seems to especially like bending over for terrorist states like Iran. You don’t attack US bases and walk away. Ever. Weakest president of all time.

Just so you're clear: Columbus Day: Yes Juneteenth: No

Lol, don’t want to burst your bubble but since Trump took office, the Supreme Court has allowed the president to spend as he chooses.

The Ukrainians have hired Bill O'Reilly, Meghan Kelly, and Two supermodels. O'Reilly excitedly announces Trump's arrival to the "audience" and then begins a push piece talking to Trump exactly the way Tucker and Jesse do back home. Trump would declare War on Russia in less than 10 minutes.

Frankly if you're doing anything with Trump and aren't framing it in the context of a right wing news roundtable you're an idiot leaving free money on the table. Imagine Trump arriving in Riyadh for negotiations on Ukraine, walks through a door and is greeted by a full TV set complete with cameras.

The worst part of this court is that Thomas and Alito were exposed as being bought and paid for by billionaires, and them being exposed as corrupt had zero impact on their behavior. They just continued as before. Truly a sign that America has fallen.

Trump thinks he's the Hitler of fascism, but really he's the Mussolini.

DEI for non-whites: "I got a place at Harvard with the same grades as a white placement, but then I achieved at 100% higher rate than my white peers. I was fired for being black." DEI for whites: "I literally made up my qualifications and got hired anyway, then when I was exposed I kept my job."

In fairness literally everything is good with bacon and this ad seems to be leaning into that point.

If the hospital takes federal funds (which iiuc basically all of them do) they have to comply with federal regulations/guidelines.

Exactly. I’m paying you to provide a reliable narrator, if I wanted to be lied to I’d just watch Fox News.

Haha, yeah I can understand. It’s also probably lose a lot in translation. The best parts of one book that comes to mind is the non-elicit parts (not that that isn’t fun). It’s fascinating to hear people’s stories in general but having someone like you behind it would be…just a little bit more.

Oh you wicked tease, lol. Some women I follow have written books and they’ve been some of my favorite reads ever. Maybe one day you’ll treat us to a story about Mrs. Aquafaba? Or a collection of fictional stories by her. It’d be wonderful.

An Oscar-worthy film, I’m sure! ;)

Slap an excise tax on profits on top of it if you want, and send the proceeds to fund Medicare. It lets the market do its thing, while ensuring Americans get the capital benefits and Americans get jobs.

I think we should apply the same terms to Chinese conglomerates that want into the US like BYD, Xiaomi, etc. You want to sell in the US? The you need to set up US production, in partnership with a US-based entity that is majority US owned.

I think it’s a lot simpler than this: when US companies wanted to do business in China they were forced to form JV with local Chinese companies. The Chinese companies then looted the JV for IP, and started selling the JV’s product into the USDM with the same product under no name labels.
